Samsung is another important and known manufacturer to unveil a really thin and light machine called ultrabook to rival Apple’s Mackbook Air. The Series 9 ultrabook is a beautifully crafted gadget made of a new material called duralumin, which it seems to be twice durable than the aluminum. The company says it weighs 2.88 pounds and measures 0.62 up to 0.64 inches at its thickest point.
Samsung Series 9 ultrabook specs include a 13.3-inch SuperBright Plus touchscreen with a resolution set at 1366×768 pixels, a powerful Intel Core i5 processor to offer power management when you are playing the latest games released plus a roomy 128GB od SSD for storing all your stuff while providing lower power consumption. It comes also with a 1.3MP HD web cam plus stereo speakers included.
On each side of the ultrabook there are a few ports nice hidden with micro HDMI input, headphone jack, mic-in, 2USB ports, one microSD slot and RJ45 LAN. 4GB of DDR3 RAM memory is included, a backlit keyboard and a large multi-touch clickpad.
In terms of battery life, the Samsung Series 9 ultrabook seems to offer about 7 hours of usage with an advanced Lithium-Polymer battery. Samsung offers three year of warranty for this premium laptop which is set to cost about $1,649 price tag.
