Intel’s new concept of laptops have “ultra-capabilities”, aiming to be much more lighter, thinner, performant and less expensive than Apple’s Macbook Air. The first ultrabook that needs to be mentioned in our top chart is HP Folio 13. The company claims that it has a long battery life of nine hours, but we can’t say the same thing. After some tests’ results, HP’s machine has managed to squeese around 6 hours and 45 minutes, which is the best time for an ultrabook out there. It does a better job than Apple’s MacBook Air.

Other machine that can last for a long time before you charge it is Toshiba Portege Z835, probably the best ultrabook option available on the market. When you can’t replace the battery for your ultrabook, it better have a good battery life. The Portege Z835 offers abouth six hours of permanent use with Wi-Fi on, web browsing, downloading some files and playing some games. Toshiba says that it offers up to eight hours of usage time. 

Lenovo IdeaPad U300S is the prove that a beautiful laptop doesn’t need to be a copy of Apple’s Macbook Air. According to the company, the machine is supposed to offer up to eight hours, but after testing it, the results for U300s’ four-cell battery pointed out only 5 hours and 40 minutes. Almost six hours of use is a reasonable battery time for Lenovo’s product.
